May be I know a little the traditions

May be I guess subtle the customs

A Festival:

May be to get good from certain positioning of celestial bodies

As we learned from astrology As our elders said

May be to revere our ethereal Gods

As a token of gratitude As a reckon of happiness

 I say I know little about puranas

 I  say I guess subtle from Itihasas

A Festival:

May be to wear new clothes

As once we used to, only on festivals 

Though today we wear everyday a new one

May be to make all the holy recipes

As once we used to, only on festivals

Though today we make everyday a new recipe

A Festival:

May be to spend all together

Share the joy together

As once we used to do on festivals

Though togethering is not an of late phenomena

And  so impossible now because of Corona

Except through the gadgets

I say I know little about surroundings

I say I guess subtle from googling

A Festival:

May be to follow a code of conduct

May be to observe a road of discipline

Whatever is the reason

Whichever is the season

Festival is still a celebration

A festival brings affirmative rejoice to our day to day strains

A festival rings positive ferver to our mechanic brains
